Birth control pills?

when is the most effective time of the day to always take my birth control pill? if you take it in the morning, is it still fully effective that night? how long does it take from the moment you take the pill for it to get into your system, then how long does it last?
Answer:
It doesn't matter what time of day you take them, as long as you take them at about the same time every day.
Many people find it easier to remember if they take them in the morning. You are more likely to have a set routine for your morning activities.

How long they actually last will be dependent on the formulation of the specific pill you are taking. The lower the dose the more important it is to take at the same time every day.
Your best bet is to choose a time of day that works for you. No one individual pill is preventing you from getting pregnant, but the cumulative and ongoing effect of your daily doses, so you don't have to worry about waiting for a dose to enter your bloodstream or whether a dose you took earlier is still active. Consistency is the key, especially with the lower dose pills.
