Bilat breast biopsy?

I have read that having a benign tumor means it won't spread, that it is just a cell that keeps growing because something is wrong with it. If that is the case, how do you end up having on in one boob, then 4 months later, discover another one in the other? I am having surgery next week to remove both, just curious as to what it means. The dr. also said it looked smooth in the ultrasound, but she doesn't like how fast they have grown. The first one I discovered 4 months ago has grown 2.5/3 times it's size! It's about 3.8cm-2.0cm I believe and the other is about half that size... The dr. also didn't tell me that they were Benign, just that it is a possibility it is.
Answer:
You did not say how old you are. There are benign tumors that young women get and there are cycts that older women get
These links talk about cycts for women 40 and above

and this is about breast tumors
