Birth Control Question?

Can the horemones in birth control cause mood swings?
Answer:
absolutely.
BC often affects each person differently.
It depends on the dosage of hormones within it.
If you find you are having some serious mood swings talk to your doc about going on a lower dose.
Usually not in severe cases.

Key word being 'severe'.

could be your age though. If your still young, it could just be your body.

Those kids and their raging hormones!!
possibly

There are many different kinds of birth control. Talk to your doctor and see if there is a different one that will work better for you.
Just depending on what kind you take, but yes they can cause them.
not normally, if you normally aren't pms'y then it probably is your body getting used to it, ask your doctor about low hormone pills.
If you're not on the pill, then the only nightmare i have heard about the shot is weight gain
yes and some birth controls are worse than others! the one that worked the best for me was Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. the ones that allow you to skip periods are usually worse then the regular ones.
Dear god yes they can. As a boyfriend to a girl that uses birth control, I can tell you that ever since she started taking it, her moods have been very volatile. Right now she switched to a birth control that uses the least amount of estrogen in order to see if this one works better.
i had a girlfriend on depo who would just start crying randomly and would have no idea why.

really, it depends on the birth control and the girl. if it becomes an issue for you, i know they make the pill in a 'low hormone' flavor..
The first two months that I was on birth control, I had really bad mood swings and food cravings. I was horrible.

After a while, though, they went away. If you feel like they are extreme, try switching to a birth control with lower hormones. :-)
It's truth but good is Gert
it depends on what birth control your on (or want to be on)...but i would ask your doctor or look up the name in google.butim on depo provera (the shot) and i dont have any side effects and i think its better then the pill because you dont have to take it everyday you only go back every 3 months...if you have a problem with shots then you should talk to your doctor about the pill or another form of birth control...but i know the shot doesnt...not sure about any other Birth control.
yes
