you can't just request a hysterectomy...most of the time they try to leave your ovaries anyway to allow the hormones to do their job.
It depends on how old you are. I've wanted to get my ovaries out when I was 12, because I had horrible periods. I've ended up in the emergency room because of my periods. What was wrong with me, was I had a rare metabolic disorder, but I prayed and God healed me, and I haven't had a period like that since then except for a couple of months ago. And that's because I have a cyst on my ovaries now. Maybe you have a cyst, you should check and see if your doctor will do a test to see if you have a cyst or something. Because if your young and have your ovaries out, you have to take estrogen for the rest of your life. I would only do that as a last resort.

Befor period start.....?
My heart beat always beat so hard. last night I woke up just from my heart beat I could even hear it sound. It was so bad feeling and scary. I felt my heart beat in all my body. and alos beofor period I can not sleep too.

ok so you might have in the passed already answered a question leading to this but i got some great advice which was to drink lost of waterr which got rid of it and now it is back a pain in my right sidenear my ovary but sometimes feels like it goes a little higher. i have been getting this pain for several months now i went to the doctors and explained it to her and she said my ovaries and a lot of people get this pain it doesnt hurt but you can tell it is there any idea please help...

It could possibly be ovulation type pain if your period is just around the corner but I would recommend getting a second opinion on this pain issue and preferably from someone not in the same office of the dr you currently see. Maybe the second opinion dr can do an ultrasound to check this situation further to see what they think is going on to cause this.

Didn't your doctor tell you what to do with this. my aunt had something similar and had to have surgery, same with my mother. if your doctor didn't say anything else then i would get a second opinion and see what needed to be done.

If the dont chances are you will need surgery to have th ovary removed. good luck and take ibuprofen(motrin) for pain and apply heat to your stomach. It will help slightly with pain. With the blood loss make sure to drink a lot of fluids ie. water, gatorade, or juice. Hope you feel better

Beach + period = not cool?
Okay so my graduation is on june 3rd and after that I will be going to the beach for the week with my boyfriend and some other friends. I'm on the pill and I start the placebo pills ON grad day. I definitely do not want to have my period down the beach so it'd be alright to just skip that week of pills and go straight to the next pack and then when the vacation is over take the sugar pills right?
